The Meta Extractor tool has been developed by us to extract metadata, programmatically from a range of file formats like PDF documents, sound files, image files, MS Office Documents and many other.

The purpose of the tool is to automatically extract metadata from digital files and output that metadata in a standard format to preserve it for further and future use.

Our tool supports nearly all the existing formats like BMP, GIF, JPEG and TIFF for images, MS WORD, MS EXCEL, MS POWER POINT and PDF for documents and WAV, MP3, BFW and FLAC for audio and video files. Also, markup languages like HTML and XML. If the file type in not known, then the tool will apply generic adapter to extract data that the host system knows about.
